Heather Hannah, Veterinary Technician

Lives in Annapolis..grew up in Bowie.  Has 6 years tech experience, graduated from the Vet Tech Institute in Pittsburgh in Dec. 2008 and passed national boards exam in Feb 2009. Heather  has a dog and two cats, Stella Bailey and Jameson. History of  horseback riding for 17years which included coaching, training and competing.  She also enjoy water sports, photography and music.

Ryan Bassard, Veterinary Technician

Ryan began working with Jay back in 2006 as a surgery and ICU tech. Ryan strongly believe in treating the owners with as much care and compassion as we do with our patients. His only pets are a 13 year old longhair dachshund named Pepsi and a 19 year old iguana named Iggy. Ryan makes time to practice mixed martial arts almost daily with Team Lloyd Irvin and Ivey League MMA as a hobby.

Gina Stanford, Practice Administrator

Gina comes to this practice with 20 years of website, IT and project management experience.  She has been working with Dr. McDonnell for almost two years, assisting with his website, IT and other administrative duties.  She has been active in the blogging health community for a few years and serves as a resource for many lupus and autoimmune websites.  She is married, has a great daughter and three amazing dogs -Ripley, Diesel and Zoe.  She spends her free time managing an all girls soccer team, blogging, tweeting and raising a pre teen daughter :)
